“Focusing on local products takes gift-giving to a new level,” says Debbie Ball, who recently retired from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture’s Pick Tennessee Products program. “In addition to showing how much you care with a unique and useable gift, when you purchase local you are supporting your local economy.”

In Chattanooga, Danielle Landrum owns a store called Locals Only Gifts & Goods, a delightful one-stop shop for Tennessee-made treasures.

“People love giving and receiving local products,” Landrum says. “You can tell by the quality that these products were thoughtfully made. People love local products not only because of their uniqueness, but also because they are proud of what their cities produce – it’s a matter of civic pride.”

Ball and Landrum helped us compile the following roundup of Tennessee-made gift ideas from across the state. Scroll through using your arrow keys or by clicking the arrow button to see all sorts of ideas, from sweet treats and spicy sauces to candles, home decor and much more.
