For more than 30 years, Henderson County Farm Bureau member Gail Hunley Horine and her family have been perfecting their old-fashioned chocolate gravy recipe in Lexington, Tennessee.
What started as a hobby of selling chocolate gravy mix to friends and family back in 1986 grew into a family business to meet the increasing demand. Today, Grandma’s Old Fashioned Chocolate Gravy Mix is available to purchase online and at various retailers across West Tennessee.

My mom used to fix chocolate gravy for breakfast when I was little and we would plop a dollop of butter and torn biscuit pieces in it. It was one of my favorite things for breakfast and Mom will still make it for me if I ask!

I remember eating chocolate graving growing up, we loved it. It was always a treat to have it with homemade biscuits. My Mom made it in a cast iron skillet and it was so good!!!!!
