Born from a desire to make delicious candy as gifts for friends, Jerrod Smith founded Shotwell Candy Co. out of his Memphis kitchen in 2012. After long nights of trial and error, he landed on the perfect caramel recipe. Since then, he has developed every aspect of Shotwell, from the logo and packaging to the website.

Shotwell Candy Co. has grown to include several flavors of their signature caramels, such as hand-crushed espresso caramels, salted caramels and various seasonal flavors, such as banana nut. They also produce Tennessee toffee in three different flavors. All candy is made in small batches by hand.
