Spring-Inspired Recipes Take Eggs Beyond the Breakfast Table
Often associated with the rebirth and renewal the season brings, eggs have long been a symbol of spring.
From Easter egg hunts to chocolate eggs to colorful dyed eggs adorning the house, many of our favorite seasonal traditions revolve around the incredible, edible egg. And while local eggs might be readily available year-round in Tennessee, spring also marks the beginning of peak egg season. As extended daylight hours encourage hens to produce more, now is the perfect time to bring home a dozen from the farmers market – or gather them from your own backyard flock if you’re lucky enough to have one. Then get to boiling, frying and baking them up into new culinary creations with these springtime recipes highlighting the nutritious, delicious and endlessly versatile egg.

Interesting recipes for a spring brunch! Every year, the sight of yellow daffodils swaying in the wind, sometimes peeping from the snow, let me know winter is on its way out. And it’s time to celebrate. One thing caught my eyes, I’ve never had Bacon Jam. I’m sure I can Google and find a recipe but I prefer to get recipes from good cooks who have already made and enjoyed it! Anyone have an easy recipe for me to try? Thanks!
