For over 100 years, the largest state 4-H program has been building leaders, growing communities and encouraging young people to make the best better. Each summer, 4-H’ers, agents and volunteers travel from across the state to Roundup, which is held on UT’s Knoxville or Martin campuses. Throughout the annual event, high school 4-H’ers compete in their project areas for scholarships or a trip to National 4-H Congress, participate in community service activities, campaign for leadership positions, and celebrate each other’s accomplishments at banquets and dances.
For the centennial celebration, a special event will be held on July 20 for all 4-H alumni to come fellowship and commemorate the accomplishment. To learn more about Roundup and the reunion, visit 4h.tennessee.edu/roundup.
