A Foodie's Guide to the Pig

Pork chops. Bacon. Country ham. No matter what your favorite way to savor, the pig is one of the most versatile animals to cook.

In his new book, The Southern Foodie’s Guide to the Pig, Nashville author Chris Chamberlain explores everything pig. He covers the anatomy of the animal, how to prepare certain cuts, Southern restaurants that best showcase the meat, and drinks and sides that complement pork dishes. Chamberlain even includes recipes for all types of barbecue sauces, from red to white to mustard to vinegar and everywhere in between, leaving open the debate of which reigns supreme.
