A 1940s Christmas, Historic Granville, through Dec. 30

Celebrate “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” in Historic Granville. Its nearly yearlong celebration of the 1940s will culminate with the annual Granville Country Christmas celebration on Dec. 9, along with fun festivities from mid-November through Dec. 30. See the museum featuring the Festival of Trees, 1880 Sutton Home with tours of a decorated 1940s home, Sutton General Store featuring Christmas lunch each day and a bluegrass show each Saturday night. Historic Granville is open Wednesday through Friday from 12 until 3 p.m. and Saturday from 12 to 5 p.m.

      Thanks for your comment! There actually are a couple of events highlighted for January, including the TN Sandhill Crane Festival as well as some happenings at Discovery Park of America in Union City. Glad to hear you like the section!
