My husband and I went there in 20202. Was a very enjoyable trip. Beautiful countryside to view on the drive. They give guided tours of the house. The guide answered all questions easily. The guide was able to point out the spot on the mountain where Alvin went to think ( as depicted in the movie). Not far from Granville, TN ( TN Mayberry) and Burgess Falls State Park. We stayed 1 night in Cookeville, TN and saw Granville day 1 and Burgess Falls and Alvin York State Park day 2.
