The Lighting of Chickasaw State Park

November 11, 2011

By Blair Thomas

Chickasaw State Park is illuminated in December for the Lighting of the Park in Henderson. Thousands of lights, hand-lit luminaries and decorations adorn the state park with holiday cheer the second weekend in December. The driving tour is free, but donations are welcomed.

Situated on some of the highest land in West Tennessee, the 14,382-acre Chickasaw State Park is located in Chester and Hardeman counties, 18 miles south of Jackson on Hwy. 100.
