Kick off the holidays with seasonal events held at Tennessee State Parks.

On Dec. 1-2, Fall Creek Falls State Park in Spencer hosts Christmas on the Mountain, featuring storytelling, visits with Santa and handmade crafts. The following weekend, Dec. 9, Norris Dam State Park in Rocky Top invites visitors to see how Christmas was celebrated in the 1930s during its annual Holiday Homecoming event. And on Friday, Dec. 15, experience Christmas on the Plateau at Cumberland Mountain State Park, with ornament decorating, the telling of A Christmas Story and a visit from Santa Claus.
