Batey Farms Strawberries

Head to Batey Farms in Murfreesboro this spring for fresh-from-the-patch strawberries.

The farm, which also sells farm-fresh sausage and other pork products, opened their strawberry patch on Medical Center Parkway to the public last year. Guests can pick up a busket (combination bucket and basket) and pick as many berries as they wish. All berries are sold by the pound, with you-pick berries ringing in at $3.75 per pound and prepicked berries at $4.25 per pound.

After you’ve gathered your berries, relax under one of the farm’s shade trees. You can even bring a blanket and picnic lunch to enjoy.

For more information, call (615) 848-4178 or visit bateyfarms.com/strawberries.
