Visit the RC Cola and Moon Pie Festival in Bell Buckle

Any Southerner knows that an RC Cola and a Moon Pie make the perfect pair. These two Tennessee treats team up for the annual RC Cola and Moon Pie Festival in Bell Buckle on the third Saturday in June.
The event began back in 1994, when locals decided to throw a 75th birthday party for the Chattanooga Bakery’s famous chocolate-marshmallow snack to bring in tourists. Nearly three decades later, the RC-Moon Pie Festival draws thousands of visitors for its 10-mile and 5K runs, live music and entertainment, the crowning of the RC King and Moon Pie Queen, and of course, lots of delicious Southern food. After all the festivities, the event wraps up with a grand finale – the cutting of the World’s Largest Moon Pie and free dessert for all.
