Tennessee Restaurants

Whether you’re craving hearty barbecue, dainty tea room fare, or down-home cooking at a meat-and-three, Tennessee has an abundance of restaurants to satisfy your tastes. In East Tennessee, Dutch Maid Bakery is known for their homemade artisan breads, while Ridgewood Barbecue is serving up a signature pit-cooked dish with heavy-smoke taste. Round out the region with the Apple Cake Tea Room for delicious heirloom apple cake. Middle Tennessee is home to Burdett’s Tea Shop and Trading Company, who claim you haven’t had a scone ’till you’ve tried one of theirs. Head over to Marcy Jo’s Mealhouse and Bakery for their seasonal lunch dish, then stop at Front Porch Restaurant for a slice of Mile-High Coconut Pie.  In the western part of the state, Just Divine Tea Room is dishing out fabulous chicken salad that has become a local legend, while Canale’s Grocery boasts an out-of-this-world ham sandwich.
