Chasin’ Waterfalls
Published Sep 03, 2008

On a recent camping trip to the Cherokee National Forest, we passed by an absolutely beautiful waterfall on Tellico River Road in Tellico Plains. More than 100-feet tall, the waterfall can be viewed from the road bridge, but there’s plenty of room to stop and take pictures as well.

We saw several people swimming in the creek around the falls, which looked to be a lot of fun. Since returning home, I’ve done some research on the waterfall and found out that you can also hike to the top of the falls. Next time you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth the drive.
