It’s time for the 15th annual Tennessee Farm Bureau Photo Contest! Grab your camera and be on the lookout for photos that fit in one of these three categories: Tennessee Barns, Rural Living and Childhood Memories. Category winners will each receive $100, and the grand-prize winner receives $200. We accept only one entry per person per category, and you must be a member of the Tennessee Farm Bureau to be eligible for a prize. View the entirety of our official rules here.

Enter here in our online photo contest entry form. All entries (whether online or mailed in) must be postmarked by Aug. 1, 2010.

Editor’s note
This year opened up a portion of the contest to be voted on by you, the readers. Unfortunately, this applied only to those who submit online, not those who mail in their entries, but don’t worry – come August, our panel of judges will pore over each and every one of our entries to determine the prize winners who will be featured in our magazine.

You can see the Readers’ Choice winners in an online gallery. Look for the overall winners in your Winter issue of Tennessee Home & Farm magazine, out in November. You will be able to see the top winners in the magazine, and those and additional honorable mention winners will be featured online.

Our next photo contest will be announced in the Spring issue of Tennessee Home & Farm, but in the meantime you can enter your photos in our new Flickr Groups, Scenic Tennessee (scenic landscape shots of our great state) and We Love TN Home & Farm (photos of you enjoying our magazine, whether places we’ve written about, recipes we’ve featured or the magazine itself).

You can mail in an entry to Tennessee Farm Bureau Photo Contest, P.O. Box 313, Columbia, TN 38402-0313. We’ve also added this to the help page on the online entry form. Thanks!

I just watched the strictest parents show with jessica and reed. Sharon you are awesome. Yes, you did make a difference in someone’s life and I hope that they appreciated the simple fact that I FEEL that you and your family (including your values and morals) basically saved those two children’s lives. I have a son that is now in prison and he was just like those two kids. I truly feel that by your involvement they are on the right track to being good law abiding citizens that will have a future instead of the future my son now has. I was like the mom’s on the show basically a good parent but at my wits end on how to get him to wake up and change his thinking of just himself. My husband brought up that he felt the kids on your show did not respect anyone including themselves. You and your family changed that. I hope you can help others. My husband and I wish the best for you and your family, stay healthy and happy.

I entered my sons pic online for the photo contest under childhood memories. It is a winter picture with him standing in front of two mules with a snow ball in his hand. I was wondering if there will only be one winner per catergory and what our chances would be to be in the magazine?

Nancy, We are in the midst of choosing a grand prize winner along with first, second and third place for each category, which will appear in the print magazine. We will also feature honorable mentions for each of the categories on the website.

The Readers’ Choice contest was online only (since we couldn’t include the entries that were mailed in), but we will be including your photo as part of a new gallery on our website with the Winter issue, in addition to the one it’s currently in.

I was viewing the Reader’s Choice winners this morning. I am confused I thought the winners would be announced in the November magazine.  Are these the winners for the home and farm magazine? If so will any of the other pictures be viewed in the magazine?
