FFA Portraits of the Past
Published Dec 01, 2007

Looking for the perfect gift for a past (or present) FFA member? These museum-quality reproductions of original FFA calendar art are sure to bring back memories.

FFA (then known as the Future Farmers of America) featured its first commissioned artwork, Love of Country by Harold Anderson, on the cover of the 1951 calendar. FFA-themed pieces like The American Farmer and The Winner by Harold Anderson, His Growing Herd by William Medcalf and Good Management by Arthur Sarnoff continued to grace calendar covers through the mid-1980s.

The reproductions are made using giclee printing – the same process used by museums – to capture every detail of the original art. Six nostalgic prints are available in various sizes. To see the complete collection and order prints, visit www.ffaunlimited.org/ffaprfrar.html.
