Earth Day Turns 40
Published Jan 04, 2010

Earth Day could be considered over the hill this year – the holiday hits the big 4-0.

Celebrate on April 22 by taking part in local activities and making a difference in your community.

The Nashville Earth Day Festival at Centennial Park is a great opportunity to get involved and have some fun. The event offers family-friendly booths, live entertainment and hands-on activities. Admission is free-of-charge.

Another Earth Day option is Knoxville’s EarthFest, a waste-free event where vendors and exhibitors provide recycling and composting opportunities for all items distributed. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities and free admission.

Visit www.nashvilleearthday.org and www.knox-earthfest.org for more information.
