Greene County Farm Bureau members Jonita Ashley and Rob Sherman cut the ribbon on their long-awaited storefront for Mountain Song Jewelers in Greeneville this May. The store, which features the heirloom art jewelry made by Sherman, had been operating online since 2016, and the new space in downtown Greeneville has given the couple a chance to showcase Sherman’s work and that of other artists they love. Sherman is Mountain Song’s artist, designer, silversmith and lapidary, specializing in handmade silver and gold pieces featuring turquoise, lapis and all kinds of faceted gemstones. The shop also sells fine estate jewelry.

In addition to Sherman’s work, Mountain Song features pieces by renowned potters, painters, photographers, stone workers and woodworkers of the Appalachian region. Visit Mountain Song Jewelers at 566 Tusculum Blvd. in Greeneville. They are open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and you can find them online at mountainsongjewelers.com.
