Adopt an Elephant Campaign with Grandma's Molasses and The Elephant Sanctuary

Grandma’s Molasses is helping save the elephants. The famous molasses brand has partnered with The Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald, Tennessee for their Adopt an Elephant Campaign, which will help raise funds for old, sick or needy elephants who have been retired from circuses and zoos.

The sanctuary is the nation’s largest natural habitat refuge, designed for endangered elephants. Since 2008, Grandma’s Molasses has donated their product to the sanctuary, where it is used to entice elephants to take their medications. The company has now extended their contribution to the non-profit sanctuary with their campaign site.

Beginning Sept. 4-Dec. 31, 2012, elephant lovers can visit the website to make a small donation and “adopt” an elephant. When you donate certain amounts, you also get information on your “adopted” elephant and coupons for Grandma’s Molasses. 100% of the proceeds from the program will go to The Elephant Sanctuary. For more information about Grandma’s Molasses, The Elephant Sanctuary and the campaign, visit www.elephantslovegrandmas.com.
