Photo Contest Entries That Made Us Smile
September 30, 2011By Blair Thomas
Readers submitted more than 1,700 photos for this year’s Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation Photo Contest. As we sorted through pictures of farms, gardens, kids, pets, and sweeping Tennessee landscapes, more than a few pictures caught our eyes.
While you’re waiting to find out this year’s photo contest winner, check out these photos that grabbed our attention and made us smile. A dog sneaking a drink of Grandma’s tea, a squirrel caught red-handed stealing cherries, Tennessee’s youngest cabbage grower and a chicken drinking Mountain Dew are just a few of these funny snapshots.

Hi Paul,
You actually have to click on the photos to view the entire image (for the vertical images, at least). Sorry for the confusion. Thanks!

Well, I think they are great! Thank you for sharing some of the photos that we might not see in the magazine. I also think the submitters of the photos appreciate you publishing them on line. I know I would enjoy seeing one of mine featured. Thanks Tennesse Farm Bureau for even having a contest. It’s fun to participate in and see the great photos.
