Chef Brandon Frohne says Southern food holds a special place in his heart. While serving as executive chef at Mason’s restaurant inside the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, Frohne also came up with the idea of Forage South, a monthly dinner club hosted in private homes.

In early 2015, Frohne and his wife, Lessie, launched their own business with the same name bringing artisanal Southern flavors to the home cook. Products include Potlikker Greens Boil – an all-natural spice mix with sweet and savory flavors to use while cooking greens, and two types of biscuit mixes – sea salt and buttermilk, and sweet potato.

Forage South products are sold in several Middle Tennessee restaurants and markets, as well as through the company’s Etsy shop. For more information, visit foragesouth.com.

GIVEAWAY: A lucky Tennessee Home & Farm reader will win a combo pack of Forage South products, including one of each biscuit mix and Potlikker Greens Boil. Enter throughout March at tnhomeandfarm.com/foragesouth for your chance to win.
