Chew on This: Dental Coverage from TRH

Dental coverage

As you age, so do your teeth. Gum disease, darkened teeth, tooth loss and cavities are common problems found in older adults. Untreated gum disease may also be a risk factor for stroke and heart and lung disease. To avoid serious dental problems, dentists recommend brushing your teeth twice daily, flossing at least once daily and visiting your dentist at least twice a year.

To help reduce the bite out of your wallet that dental visits and treatment might take, affordable and quality dental coverage is available from TRH Health Plans.

Even better, TRH dental coverage includes benefits for preventive care, such as routine exams and cleanings, and more (in addition to coverage for more costly procedures should they arise later).

An individual dental plan is only $28.25 a month – that’s less than a dollar a day. And more than 1,800 providers across the state participate in TRH’s dental coverage, so finding care is easy.

Take a moment and visit a TRH representative in your local Farm Bureau office about our affordable dental plans, or call us toll-free at (877) 874-8323. As always, you are under no obligation or pressure when you inquire with TRH. Instead, you’ll get friendly and helpful information.

I did not know of any insurance for senior dental until I saw this in Farm ahd Home. I am 73 years od and just spent the last of my husbands retirement, between 2 dentists, it has cost around $15,000.00. The first one was a crook and his work didn’t last. My second has been with a dentist and an oral surgeon. I don’t have any of my teeth, the oral surgeon surgeon had to pull the last five that went bad after the first dentist messed them up. Now I have had 4 implants and lost three of them. I don’t have any ridge to put in a denture. I am lost, now I don’t have any money and I don’t have any teeth. Would this TRH pay for implants? It’s the only way I can ever have any teeth again. I would die for an apple. It’s been seven years since I could eat most all fruit. Thank you , Mildred Staley
